The system's one control panel: twenty-one keys that every other app can read. Three are switches - *darkmode*, *sound* and *haptics*. Eleven are pickers, from the accent *color* (fifteen palette names) to the *font* (mono, sans, serif, display or mrly) and the oscillator *wave* (sine, triangle, square or sawtooth). The remaining seven are numbers with hard ranges, like *scale* from 3 to 6 and *width* from 500 to 1500.

## Dials

- *launchpad* switches the home screen between grid and list.
- *render* picks cpu or gpu drawing; *material* picks solid or glass.
- *wallpaper* is a flat color or a generated pattern, shaped by *seed* (0 to 999) and *detail* (32 to 160).
- A value outside its range or off its list is refused, and the old value stands.
- Every change is shared with all apps at once.
